The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I have been retired as a research biochemist for many years. In 1984 I started my own computerized search service business, and had been training and field trialing my English Springers since 1978. The photo is of me with "Sophaider's Diamond-in-the-Ruff" and his 2 hunt test ribbons that he won in Texas (circa 1999). I have served as treasurer of the Edmonton Springer Spaniel Club for the past 20 years, and assisted in organizing the club's field trials. I joined Nu Chapter of Sigma Delta Epsilon, Graduate Women in Science at Penn State in 1962, and have been active in their national organization for most of the past 32 years as a member of the Parliamentary Committee, and, since June 2006, as national treasurer. I moved to the Edmonton, Alberta area in Sept. 1970, and became a Canadian citizen in Feb. 2004. I was also very fortunate to have been a member of the Richard Eaton Singers, a community-based chorus, for about 15 years.
